Harbor: several units look for cottage and coastal websites

Three houses. Pick by how many of you.

The chooser. Three plain questions (how many of you, the view or the walk, dog?) laid out as a table where every answer is a house, because a host with several places gets that question first. Every house page opens with the same three facts.

The home page of Harbor, three fictitious cottages across Sperling Harbor, Maine: a one-bedroom net loft, a three-bedroom cottage and an 1880s captain's house.

Best for
A host with two to five separate houses in one town, where the first question is which house fits the group, not whether to book.
Typefaces
Hanken Grotesk, a plain sentence-case grotesk with one word underlined in the accent, over Manrope for the details.
Palette
Sea-white and a pale mist band, harbor-green ink for text and buttons, and a buoy-red accent that only ever colors labels and the underlined word.
First screen
The headline, then the three houses side by side as photographs, each with its name, one line of facts (sleeps, bedrooms, from-rate, minutes on foot to the pier) and the next open weekend. The rows index lives on the houses page.

What it gets right

Three things a guest would notice

  1. Shows all the houses on the first screen, photograph first, with the facts a group compares: sleeps, price, walk, next open weekend.

  2. Turns 'which one should we take' into a table instead of three listings to read.

  3. Lists every house in the header and footer of every page, so a guest never loses the other two.
