Do I need to switch booking software?
No. VacayDirect connects to the booking system you already use through its booking widget or booking engine link. If you don't have one yet, we'll recommend one that fits the number of properties you have.
Does VacayDirect take a commission on bookings?
No. You pay a flat monthly fee. Bookings and payments run through your own booking system, so the money goes to you.
Can I edit the site myself?
Yes. You change things by chatting with your site's AI agent in plain English, for example "add the new hot tub photos to the cabin page". On the Concierge plan a person will do it for you.
I only have one property. Is this overkill?
One property is the most common case. A single well-built site with local content is often what separates an owner who gets repeat guests direct from one who pays a platform fee on every stay.
