Are these vacation rental website templates I can buy and edit?
No, and that's the point. A $299 template is a file you fill in on a Saturday. A VacayDirect look is applied to your site by us: we rebuild from your current website or listing, put the look on it, connect your booking system and launch it. Growth is $99 a month with no setup fee.
Which template is best for an Airbnb or short-term rental website?
It depends on the property, not the platform. Ember suits a single cabin or lake house with strong seasons; Salt suits a beach house rented by the week; Ridgeline suits ski condos or a few units in one building. Every look carries the same things underneath: a booking widget for your own system, rental structured data, and space for the local guides we publish weekly.
Can I use a look with my booking software?
Yes. Each look has a booking plate that mounts your system's own widget or booking-engine link (OwnerRez, Hostaway, Hospitable, Lodgify, Guesty, Hostfully and others). Rates and availability stay live, payments go to you, and we never take a commission.
Are the demo properties real?
No. Ember Cabin, Salt House and Ridgeline are fictitious properties in invented towns, photographed by AI, so the demos show a finished site without borrowing anyone's home. The demo booking calendars don't take bookings.
Can I mix looks, or ask for something different?
Yes. A look is a starting direction, not a cage. Send us sites you admire, or the photographs you have, and we'll adapt. New looks are designed as owners ask for them.
